Trail Running

Dirt paths

following categories:
New to running and looking to find your niche
Welcome to the trails- you are going to LOVE THIS SHIT!

As a knowledgeable, passionate member of the trail runningcommunity please join me in supporting others to join us on the dirty side

Just so you know once you come to the dirt you will never goback.
Maintaining neutrality and playing both sides
You know trail running is the answer, whatever the question
A skeptical road runner yet to be convinced of the awesomeness of the trails
In the words of John D Rockefeller “don’t be afraid to give up the good to go for the great”

Now it’s not my purpose to diss road running but just so you know, trail running is SO MUCH
BETTER THAN ROAD RUNNING.
Trail Love
I acknowledge I am just a tad biased, trail running is my passion, my love.
OK not my first love, that’s Justine, but it’s REALLY REALLY high up there.
It’s my reason for being here, to share my love and passion with you.
I have been in love with the trails for most of my life, having been initially introduced to their beauty as a boy scout growing up in the UK, walking and hiking across The Pennines, Snowdon (N Wales), Cumbria and the Lake District. Then tackling them on two wheels as a mountain biker in the UK, Australia and New Zealand and as part of the obstacle racing world in Victoria before realising that the obstacles where just spoiling a perfectly good run and decided to concentrate instead on the running.
My trail running has brought me into contact with some of the most amazing people, the most wonderful of places, the most beautiful and rewarding trails and the most unforgiving and challenging of terrains.
Peninsula Trail Runners
In 2014 I founded the Peninsula Trail Runners (#wearePTR), an awesome social group of absolutely mad trail runners located on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. The purpose was to ‘provide an opportunity for everybody to participate in trail running and enhance their health and wellbeing in a social, friendly and inclusive atmosphere’.
And now I would like to share this desire with you, to inspire and support YOU to explore the magnificent trails and world around us in Victoria, Australia and the World, leaving nothing behind but your footsteps.

Did I mention trail running was just awesome? I am sure I did, but if you need any more convincing read on….
